AI dominants headlines as usual, this week Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5 dropped.
But as suddenly as it dropped. it was then yeeted it offline 3 days later by the US government
Fable 5 was supposed to be their safest, most capable general-release model yet, with conservative safeguards that routed spicy queries to Opus 4.8 instead. Meanwhile Mythos 5 (same weights, no guardrails) went straight to cyberdefenders via Project Glasswing. Then June 12 hits and they pull both.
I personally didnt get a chance to use use it, But for those who did, they seem to be struggling with some sort of Post-Fable Depression?!
This is some the worst AI psychosis I’ve ever seen. AI withdrawal is real and this is genuinely not healthy.

On the AI topic, I’ve been using Herdr a whole bunch and loving it. If you’ve struggld with tmux in the past but want persistence terminals that is also AI agent aware. This tool is awesome. It works with opencode , claude code, pii. Pretty much any agent. It will track if the agent is running or blocked and chime you. No need to remember any hotkeys as its a tui that mouse-first.
What really neat about it is that it ships with a skill, so you can ask your ai agent to control herder , spin up agents on different panes and they can even communicate with each other. Its really cool workflow

ITS HAPPENING, THE LEAK WERE REAL. Nintendo just dropped *The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake** on Switch 2 at latest nintendo direct. My inner child is absolutely screaming.
The new Star Fox game demo was everything I wanted it to be. Yeah the graphics & FPS is amazing, but most importantly it feels right. Gameplay > Graphics. When you’re in the midst of barrel rolling and dodging asteroids, and pew pew pewing. It’s all the same SNES, N64, Switch.

adrafinil — Keeps your Mac awake only while AI coding agents are actually working, so you’re not burning battery all night because Claude Code hit a prompt and your laptop is just vibing at 3am.
The state of the world and AI is getting real strange. Do we strap in or eject? I honestly don’t know right now. All I know is that simpler times are behind us now and things are only gonna get crazier…
